OUR HONEYMOON
Don and I honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The resort we stayed at was called the Enchanted Gardens. It is no longer a resort, but has been converted to a botanical gardens and bird aviary. It was absolutely beautiful. This resort was different from the other resorts because it was not on the beach but up in the rainforest. You definitely had a beautiful view of the beach and could walk there, but our resort shuttled us to the beach when we wanted to go. This place was perfect for Don and I because we are more forest people than beach people.
I am very sad because when we got married, digital photography did not exist. We were fairly poor as well, so we did not own a nice camera. Most of the pictures we took were using a disposable 35 mm camera! I also didn't take time to take beautiful pictures like I do today. Though we did not have many pictures, it will always be beautiful in my memory.
